Assistant coach Par Nilsson was named Interim Head Golf Coach in May 2019. He was a two-time All-American competing for the OSU Cowboys from 2001-05. Nilsson played professionally from 2005-09 before turning to coaching.
Oklahoma State opened with a 300 but couldn't improve that score and placed sixth in the 2019 Big 12 Conference Championship at Golf Club of Oklahoma in Broken Arrow, Okla. Texas, the only team to break par during a single round, shot 877 over 54 holes to win the Big 12 title by 37 strokes over runner-up Baylor. Rounding out the top five were Oklahoma in third, Texas Christian in fourth and Texas Tech in fifth. Weather was cool and windy on the par 72, 6,341-yard course, where the average 18-hole score of 77.6 strokes. Only five sub-par rounds were recorded over three days.
The Cowgirls were led by Michelle Forsland, who tied for eighth (77-74-76=227). Lianna Bailey tied for 14th (72-78-79=229).
Oklahoma State tied for seventh in the 2018 NCAA D-1 San Francisco Regional, and tied for second in the Big 12 Conference Championship.
The Cowgirls placed 10th in the 2017 NCAA D-I Albuquerque Regional, and fourth in the Big 12 Championship.
Oklahoma State placed 11th in the 2016 NCAA Championship, third in the NCAA D-I Shoal Creek Regional, and won the Big 12 Conference Championship.
Oklahoma State finished 11th of 18 in the 2015 NCAA D-I South Bend Regional, and fifth in the Big 12 Championship.
Oklahoma State tied for eighth but failed to earn a nationals berth after losing a playoff in the 2014 NCAA D-1 Central Regional, and finished seventh in the Big 12 Conference Championship.
In 2013, Oklahoma State placed 12th in the NCAA Championship, third in the NCAA D1 East Regional, and won the Big 12 Championship.
Oklahoma State claimed 11th and just missed qualifying for nationals at the 2012 NCAA D1 East Regional, and tied for fourth in the Big 12 Conference Championship.
The Cowgirls finished 17th in the 2011 NCAA Central Regional, and seventh in the Big 12 Conference tournament.
Oklahoma State finished fourth in 2009 and eighth in 2010 at the NCAA Championship.
