Jay Moseley was named Ohio State coach in July 2015. He served the previous six years as head coach at Kennesaw State University. Moseley competed at Auburn University (2004-2008) where he earned All-SEC, All-American and All-American Scholar honors. He was Auburn graduate assistant coach prior to KSU.

Ohio State University shot 281-282 the final two rounds and routed the field at the fall 2018-19 Musketeers Classic at Maketewah Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Buckeyes' one-under total of 851 was 18 strokes better than runner-up Ball State. Northern Kentucky claimed third, and host Xavier and Oakland U tied for fourth.The 13-team, 84-player field recorded a 75.4 stroke scoring average for three rounds on the 6,808-yard, par-71 course.

OSU's Will Grimmer (68-67-67=202) took medalist honors by 11 shots over runner-up and teammate Daniel Wetterich (74-69-70=213). Caleb Ramirez (74-72-70=216) tied for sixth.

Playing as an individual, Ohio State's Daniel Wetterich tied for 46th (79-75-73=227) in the 2018 NCAA D-1 Columbus Regional at Ohio State University's Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio. The course was par 71, measuring 7,364 yards and produced an average 18-hole score of 74.8 strokes.

Ohio State, within one stroke of the lead after two rounds, beat only three teams during the final round and finished second overall in the 2018 Big Ten Conference Championship at Baltimore Country Club in Baltimore, Md. Illinois won its fourth consecutive Big Ten title, beating the Buckeyes by 15 strokes. Rounding out the top five were Iowa, Penn State and Northwestern. Players shot 35 sub-par rounds during the first two days, but only two during a windy, cold final round. The course was par 70, measuring 7,181 yards, which produced an avearge 18-hole score of 73.5 strokes.

Will Grimmer took fourth (70-69-72=211) to top the Buckeyes. Jeg Coughlin III tied for 10th (67-70-77=214).

Ohio State finished ninth at the 2017 NCAA D-I Stanford Regional, and third in the Big Ten Championship.

The Buckeyes claimed eighth in the 2016 Big Ten Conference Championship. The Buckeyes placed eighth in the 2015 NCAA D-I New Haven Regional, and tied for fifth at the Big Ten Conference Championship.

Ohio State finished 12th out of 14 schools in the 2014 NCAA D-I Columbia Regional, and sixth in the Big Ten Conference Championship.

Ohio State tied for fourth in the 2013 Big Ten Conference Championship. In 2012, OSU finished 12th at the 2012 NCAA D1 Central Regional, and ninth in the Big Ten Conference tournament.

Ohio State tied for fifth at the 2011 NCAA Championship after placing fifth in the 54-hole stroke play and qualifying for match play. But the Buckeyes lost their opening-round match to Oklahoma State. Ohio State finished finished fourth at the 2011 NCAA Central Regional, as well as fourth in the Big Ten tournament

Ohio State finished 25th in the 2009 NCAA Championship. The Buckeyes earned a berth to nationals by finishing in a tie for third at the 2009 NCAA Division I Central Regional.

Facilities:
School Owned Course: OSU Golf Club is 36 holes including the OSU Scarlet Course and the OSU Gray Course. The Scarlet Course has been rated the best collegiate facility by Golf Digest. It has hosted the Men’s NCAA Championship ten times and the Women’s NCAA Championship three times.
Practice Facilities: Opened in 2014, the 20,800-square-foot Jane and Walt Dennis Golf Performance Facility for both the mens and womens golf teams and is one of the largest collegiate indoor golf centers in the country. It will house both team locker rooms and offices for each coach as well as meeting rooms and storage. Highlighting the centers many features is the heated hitting bay building that will allow for year-round practice in all facets of the sport.

The OSU Golf Club has a driving range and numerous practice greens for the Buckeye teams.
