Greg Lynn is the first coach of the Oklahoma Christian women's golf team that began competition in 2011-12. He was OCU assistant men's golf coach 1999-2011.
Oklahoma Christian University moved from NAIA affiliation to NCAA D-II and the Heartland Conference in 2012-13.
Oklahoma Christian placed 12th in stroke play and did not advance in the 16-team 2019 NCAA D-II Championship at PGA National Champions Course in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Windy conditions pushed the scoring average to 80.7 strokes over 54 holes on the 6,081-yard, par-73 course. Abigail Rigsby (77-80-80=237) tied for 28th, and Shaley Goad (80-77-81=238) tied for 32nd to lead the Eagles.
The top eight teams (Florida Tech, Cal State-San Marcos, Indianapolis, Barry, SW Oklahoma State, Limestone, Dallas Baptist and Findlay) advanced to medal/match play to determine the 2019 D-II Champion. Florida Tech defeated Cal State-San Marcos in the championship match.
Oklahoma Christian shot a final-round 300 and held on to fourth place and advance in the 12-team 2019 NCAA D-II West Regional at Amarillo Country Club in Amarillo, Tex. Dallas Baptist closed with 290-293 to win by four strokes over runner-up West Texas A&M and eight over third-place California State-San Marcos. OCU was a shot back in fourth and grabbed the last spot to advance to the D-II Championship. Academy of Art U was fifth, missing out by four strokes. The 66-player field recorded a 77.7-stroke scoring average on the 6,436-yard, par-71 course. Conditions were windy, and a second-round lightning delay stopped play until the next day.
Kate Goodwin (75-70-76=221) and Shaley Goad (74-72-75) tied for eighth for the Eagles.
OCU posted consistently good team scores 298-300-297 but was no match for Dallas Baptist in the 2019 Heartland Conference Championship at Slick Rock Golf Course in Horseshoe Bay, Tex. DBU shot the low team score each round totalling 874 and claimed the title by 21 strokes over OCU, St. Mary's took third and St. Edward's was fourth. The course played to 5,943 yards, par 72 and yielded an 18-hole scoring average of 78.5 strokes in mostly good weather as winds bumped scores by about two strokes the last day. Nine sub-par rounds were recorded.
OCU's Shaley Goad (72-71-71=214) finished second, and Kate Goodwin (71-73-75=219) claimed fifth.
OCU finished sixth in 2018 and fifth in 2017 at the Heartland Conference Championship.
In the school's first years as full conference members, Oklahoma Christian finished sixth of nine at the rain-shortened 2016 Heartland Conference Championship. The Eagles were eighth at the 12-team 2016 NCAA D-II West Regional.
The Eagles matched their finish from the previous year tying for third in the fall 2014-15 National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Championship.
The Eagles placed third in the fall 2013-14 NCCAA Championship. They were second in 2012-13.
Oklahoma Christian took sixth in the 2012 NAIA Championship and second in the 2012 Sooner Athletic Conference.
