In the final event of the shortened spring 2020 season, Iowa Western CC took on four-year schools and shot 303-301 to place second in the Eagle Spring Classic at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville, Okla. Oklahoma City U was only team to post a sub-300 round, and the Stars 579 total beat the runner-up Reivers by 25 strokes. Texas at Dallas, Columbia College (MO) and Central Baptist filled out the top five in the 12-team tournament. The course was par 72, measuring 6,760 yards and yielded an average 18-hole score of 81.9 strokes.
Adam Van Raden (75-76=151) and Dean Walsh (76-75-151) tied for eighth to lead the Iowa Western Reivers.
Breaking par during the first and final round, Iowa Western CC tied for seventh in the 2019 National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Championship.
Iowa Western CC placed second in the 2018 NJCAA Division I Championship. In 2017, the Reivers finished sixth in the NJCAA D-I Championship, and third in the NJCAA D-I District 3 Championship.
The Reivers placed 10th in the 2016 National Junior College Athletic Association Championship, 15th in 2015, third in 2014, sixth in 2013, 11th in 2012, 13th in 2011, and 20th in 2010.
