Longtime assistant coach Mark Hall was promoted to head golf coach in August 2018. He replaced Harry Jennings, the only head coach Wilmington golf has ever had. Jennings, who was head man for 14 years, will remain as assistant coach. Hall has been Wimington swing coach during the Wildcats successful run.
Beginning 2017-18, the Central Atlantic Conference (CACC) Championship is played in the fall instead of the spring.
Wilmington University returned to its champion status at the fall 2019-20 Central Atlantic Conference (CACC) Championship at White Beeches Golf Club in Haworth, NJ. The Wildcats fired a closing 292 to overcome a 10-shot first-round deficit and claim victory by six strokes over runner-up Goldey-Beacom followed by Post, Chestnut Hill and Concordia (NY). Wilmington had won eight consecutive CACC titles before slipping to third in 2018-19. The scoring average was 80.5 for the nine-team field on the 6,584-yard, par-72 course.
Enrique Valverde (75-72=147) and Tyler Cleaves (76-73=149) finshed 1-2 to lead the Wildcats.
Wilmington placed 19th in stroke play in the 20-team 2019 NCAA D-II Championship. The Wildcats took third in the 20-team 2019 NCAA D-II Atlantic/East Regional and third in the fall 2018-19 CACC Championship.
Wilmington finished 11th in the 20-team 2018 NCAA D-II Atlantic/East Regional. The Wildcats opened with a 287 and cruised to their eighth consecutive conference title at the fall 2017-18 CACC Championship.
Wilmington claimed fifth place at the 20-team 2017 NCAA D-II Atlantic/East Regional after winning its seventh straight CACC title.
Wilmington placed eighth in the stroke-play part of the 2016 NCAA D-II Championship. In medal/match, #8-seed Wilmington lost to #1-seed Saint Leo 4 - 1 in the first round.
Wilmington fininshed fourth at the 20-team 2016 NCAA D-II Atlantic/East Regional. The Wildcats posted the low team score both days and rolled to their sixth consecutive conference title at the 2016 CACC Championship.
Wilmington finished 16th of 20 teams in the 2015 NCAA D-II Championship.
The Wildcats won in the 20-team 2015 NCAA D-II Atlantic/East Regional after claiming their fifth consecutive CACC title.
Wilmington open strong but slipped to ninth at the 20-team 2014 NCAA D-II Atlantic/East Regional. The Wildcats rolled to their fourth consecutive conference title at the 2014 CACC Championship.
Wilmington finished 15th at the 2013 NCAA D-II Championship at Hershey Country Club in Hershey, PA.
Wilmington gave up the second-round lead and finished second to Indiana U of PA at the 20-team 2013 NCAA D-II Atlantic/East Regional after winning the 2013 CACC.
Wilmington placed 17th at the 2012 NCAA D-II Championship.
The Wilmington Wildcats won their first-ever regional title at the 2012 NCAA D-II East/Atlantic Regional after cruising to an 11-stroke win at the 2012 CACC Championship.
The Wildcats placed third in the 2011 NCAA D-II East/Atlantic Regional and 19th at the 2011 NCAA D-II Championship.
Wilmington also competed in the 2008, 2009 and 2010 NCAA Division II East-Atlantic Regionals.
