Lauren Mason was named head golf coach in August 2019 after serving one season as assistant coach. She was an outstanding player at Texas Tech and completed two degrees in four and a half years, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
In the final event of the shortened spring 2020 season, Texas A&M-Commerce improved its team score each round (313-292-289) and placed sixth at the LCU Chap Classic at the Rawls Course in Lubbock, Tex. Western Texas College took the lead with a second-round 4-under 284 and edged Rogers State by two strokes for the title. Dallas Baptist and Wayland Baptist tied for third, three shots out of second. The course was par 72, measuring 6,180 yards and producing an average 18-hole score of 75.5 strokes.
Joe Wolcik (76-72-74=222) tied for 16th to pace the Commerce Lions. Ryan Palmer (78-71-76=225) was 24th.

In the 2014 Lone State Conference Championship, Texas A&M-Commerce opened with a team score 298 to earn the #1 seed. The Lions defeated #4-seed West Texas A&M 4-1. Commerce then lost to #3-seed Cameron 4-1 for the 2014 Lone Star Conference title.
Texas A&M-Commerce placed fourth in the six-team 2013 Lone Star Conference Championship.
