Rich Williams (since 2013) is coach. He also serves as the athletics department's Game Operations Director. Williams has worked in a variety of roles within the golf industry, including as an assistant and head professional.
In the final event of the shortened spring 2020 season, Cumberland University (TN) shot 309-310 and held second place by a shot at the Georgetown College Invitational at Peninsula Golf Course in Gulf Shores, Ala. Webber International posted 303-302 to win by 14 strokes, and Campbellsville and Truett-McConnell tied for third, one stroke behind the CU Bulldogs. The course was par 72, measuring 6,981 yards and yielded an average 18-hole score of 80.3 strokes.
Adrian Steeger (76-79=155) and Bryson Smith (75-80=155) tied for seventh to pace the Bulldogs.

Cumberland University competed but failed to make the 54-hole cut at the 2019 NAIA Championship. Cumberland, the only team to break 300 during a single round, easily won the 2019 Mid South Conference Championship.
Cumberland competed but failed to make the 54-hole cut in the 2018 NAIA Championship, and won the Big South championship. The Bulldogs competed but didn't make the 36-hole cut in the 2017 NAIA Championship, and won the Mid South Conference Championship.
Cumberland placed third in the 2015 and 2016 NAIA Mid South Conference Championship, third in 2014 and fourth in 2013. Cumberland placed fourth in the 2012 TranSouth Championship, and second in 2010 and 2011.
The Bulldogs took 16th in the 2009 NAIA Championship at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill., and won the TranSouth Conference Championship.
